Goals

The objectives of the association are basically laid down in the statutes. Here are the most important points:

  • Quality assurance: BPT members must meet certain training standards in order to be admitted to the association. This means: Membership in the BPT is a statement about the quality of the work. This makes BPT trainers stand out from the mass of trainers and can be used to apply. In addition, the BPT supports a defined quality standard by awarding a seal. The TÜV Rheinland certification for personal fitness trainers offers personal fitness trainers an ideal opportunity to stand out from the crowd. Further points can be found under Quality Assurance – TÜV Seal.

  • Consulting: The BPT sees itself as a competent partner for legal and business questions on the subject of personal fitness training. All important information for independent personal fitness trainers is collected here and passed on to the members. In addition, the association advises its members on training and further education issues as well as on all issues relating to personal fitness training.

  • Cooperations: The BPT agrees on cooperations with companies and institutions which benefit the association and above all the individual trainers. The services of cooperation partners can only be accessed by association members. Members have thereby a monetary advantage in relation to non-members.

  • Media and lobby work: Personal fitness trainers have long been working not only for the upper class, but also for a broad target group that takes advantage of the individual offer. Many people don’t know this yet. By regular media work (e.g. ARD, SWR, magazines and Internet sides) the BPT registered association makes attentive therefore to this fact and to the interests of the federation and its members. Beyond that the federation understands itself also in the public and political area as lobby federation for its members.
